"The Biker Mice from Mars couldn't be here"

Films: Rat Scratch Fever (2011)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Desert/Eldritch Location/Civilized Area

Height/Weight: Up to that of small cars.

Affiliation: Neutral, leaning on Evil

Summary: Last decade, we saw a slew of murderous rodent movies. We have no idea what made us hate our little furry friends so much, but it's abundantly clear that the feeling hasn't quite left. Not by a longshot...

History: These odd rats were in fact stowaways from an ill-fated expedition to a savage planet inhabited by nothing BUT rats. Big ones. Soon, a few of them came to Earth, and in the span of less than a day, overrun the entire city of Los Angeles and beyond. Humanity may very well be on the brink.

Notable Kills: We see a rat gnawing on a baby and a kitten here. Not cool.

Final Fate: It's safe to assume after all of the nonsensical carnage that has ensued that both man and rat are on edge. A lot of stuff got blown up and many, MANY rats are dead. Let's just hope we got all of them.

Powers/Abilities: Certain rats can commandeer human bodies and act just like us. They can also spread a disease that turns people berserk.

Weakness: Anything conventional.

Scariness Factor: 2.5-These rats may be some of the most violent and rapidly breeding around, but there's just one small detail that holds them back. Namely, they and this whole production were made on a shoestring budget. Actually, we'd be hard-pressed to call it a budget at all. The mutant beast that is this film only drives home how absurd it all is.

Trivia: -If you can believe it, the scenes with the alien planet were all done in a porn studio. That's an oddly elaborate porn studio, if you ask us.

-Originally, the bulk of this film would have taken place on Mars.
